Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is one of seven Arab Emirates. The same city was the capital of the emirate and the UAE. Like Dubai Abu Dhabi also going through a stormy development. Due to the more conservative policy has always followed Abu Dhabi, there is a backlog in Dubai which is caught up rapidly. There is a new rate imposed under the rule of the pro-Western Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed. Around the old town are numerous modern projects set aside to ensure that Abu Dhabi also put on the map as a tourist destination.
A good way to explore Abu Dhabi is through a so-called hop-on-hop-off bus. These are tourist buses that take you through the highlights of Abu Dhabi.
Landmark No. 1 Guggenheim
In 2017, the largest Guggenheim in the world will open its doors in Abu Dhabi. The more than forty thousand square meters story museum will be housed in a building that consists of a high quality piece of architecture. The building is designed by Frank Gehry, who is also responsible for the impressive Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. The Guggenheim Abu Dhabi gets a prominent place on Saadiyat Island.

Landmark No. 2 Yas Marina Circuit
The Yas Marina Circuit is a race track located on Yas Island. The track is a marina where you often will find very expensive yachts. The circuit has cost about one billion dollars, making it the most expensive F1 circuit in the world. A significant part of the cost has gone into the construction of the futuristic Yas Viceroy Hotel. This is the only hotel in the world partly on a Formula 1 circuit is built.

Landmark No. 1 Emirates Palace
After Dubai also have a self-appointed seven-star Burj Al Arab opened wanted to Abu Dhabi. Where in Dubai chose a modern design, since they have just chosen Abu Dhabi for a typical Arab style. The Emirates Palace Hotel was opened in 2005, built in the shape of a real Arabic palace. It covers an area of no less than 850,000 square meters in which there are 302 rooms, but find no less than 92 suites. Who the hotel lobby visits will be overwhelmed by the many gold and stone that's used.

Landmark No. 4 Ferrari World
Lovers of sports cars and speed should definitely visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. This almost completely covered theme park is dedicated to the famous Italian car manufacturer Ferrari. Ferrari Red color also dominates on the inside and outside of the park.

Landmark No. 5 Corniche Road
One of the main streets of the original Abu Dhabi Corniche Road. This street runs parallel to the coast. Along the Corniche Road you will find a beautiful promenade and beaches.
Landmark No. 6 Sheikh Zayed Mosque
The largest mosque in the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayed Mosque. This beautifully designed white Moorish mosque, Mongolian and Arabic influences. The mosque can accommodate as many as forty thousand mosque goers. Impressive elements in the mosque is the largest carpet in the world (5627 meters) and the largest chandelier in the world.
Landmark No. 7 Marina Mall
The number of large shopping malls which is interesting for tourists in Abu Dhabi (still) quite limited. We certainly recommend the Marina Mall, located at Corniche Road on an artificial peninsula.

Landmark No. 8 Airport Road
At the end of Airport Road, the road to the old city center of Abu Dhabi, are some huge images. These images like a big gun and a big Arabic teapot are worth worth seeing.
Landmark No. 9 Abu Dhabi Heritage Village
This reconstruction of traditional oasis dwellings showed a glimpse of the daily life in Abu Dhabi.
Landmark No. 10 Emirates National Auto Museum
South of Abu Dhabi, about an hour away, the Emirates National Auto Museum is located. You can view the private collection of Sheikh Hamad Al Nahyan comprising a total of 200 cars. Most cars come from the second half of the last century.
